๐Ÿ›๏ธ The 4 Quadrants of Productivity

Named after President Dwight D. Eisenhower, this framework helps you categorize tasks into four boxes:

  • ๐Ÿš€ Quadrant 1 (Urgent & Important): Do these first. Deadlines and crises.
  • ๐Ÿ“… Quadrant 2 (Not Urgent & Important): The "Goal" Zone. Planning, relationship building, and self-care. Focus here!
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Quadrant 3 (Urgent & Not Important): Delegate. Meetings and interruptions.
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Quadrant 4 (Not Urgent & Not Important): Delete. Time-wasters and distractions.

๐Ÿ’ก Why Quadrant 2 is Key

Successful people spend the most time in Quadrant 2. By focusing on things that are important but not yet urgent, you prevent them from becoming Quadrant 1 crises later.

๐Ÿ’ก Track Your Time: Spend one week writing down everything you do. You'll be shocked at how much time "leaks" into Quadrant 4. Use our Typing Practice tool to take a break and sharpen your skills!
